Meet the Bloggers - Craig Rosen

Craig will be focusing his blogging on the 2007 Symposium on Gender and Jewish Education

Hello all! I am Craig Rosen and was born and raised in Van Nuys, CA. I have been working as an educator/youth worker for many years all over the Western United States. I have served as the Regional Director for NFTY in the Pacific Southwest council office of the Union, Program Director for the JCC of Seattle and served seven years as the Director of Education for Congregation B’nai B’rith in Santa Barbara, CA.

I currently serve as the Director of Lifelong Learning at Congregation Ner Tamid in Henderson, NV, which is right outside of Las Vegas. In addition to working on National Board of NATE (National Association of Temple Educators) I wrote an article on engaging college age teachers for religious school was published in the 2006 spring edition of Torah at the Center and an essay featured in the newly released book The Gender Gap published by the URJ Press in December, 2007.

I am looking forward to keeping you up-to-date from the Symposium.
