Sometimes timing is everything. For the past week I have been listening to XM Radio’s “Radio Chanukah” and it has been quite effective in ramping up my excitement for Biennial. Some of the stars from past Biennials have been featured and it was great fun to hear them, their music, and their commentaries knowing that I would be with some of them this week at Biennial.

I have just arrived in San Diego this afternoon and checked in to the beautiful Marriott Convention Center Hotel. The bay view is breathtaking. I walked through the convention center area where the Biennial is taking place just so I could get my bearings. It is going to be fantastic! I keep running into friends who are staff members from the URJ already here working hard to set the convention up and have it ready for when the rest of the delegates and guests arrive. The space is starting to take shape and I can pretty well figure out where things are going to be.

The weather here in San Diego is unbelievable! It is cool at night (in the low 50’s) and warmish during the day (high 60’s). Clear blue skies and a light wind combine for the best weather possible. Oh well, off to dinner with folks I haven’t seen in a while. Hope to see YOU here soon.
