One Week Out

By Ginger Jacobs

A week from today, I’ll be driving down to San Diego for the North American Board meeting, starting the 2007 Biennial for me. Yes, I know I’m lucky, I don’t have to get on a plane, clear security and all. Just drive my own car!

I’m looking forward to this Biennial, getting to see long time friends and meet new people. The last Biennial in Houston was one of the very few I have missed in the past 30 years.

And besides, it is in my home Region, PacificSouthwest Council.

And, of course, Shabbat is the highlight. Have any of you listened to the CD you got in the mail? I’ve been listening in my car, singing away, getting in the mood! What do you think of the music, a real mix of traditional and some new melodies? What is your favorite?

(Editor's Note: If you are coming to Biennial and have not received your CD, please email the Biennial Staff to send you a copy.)

I am a big fan of the Am Yisrael Chai written by Noam Katz. (It is number 10 on the CD)
