As of 9:40 AM on Saturday, Biennial Jane has walked 6560 steps. That is just shy of three miles...with one more meal to finish up (the Shabbat Study Lunches) Biennial Jane may have walked a full marathon!

Thanks to Randee Friedman, Biennial participant and blog reader, we are able to track Biennial Jane once again, just in time for Shabbat. On a night where Biennial Jane will be responsible for more than 4,500 meals, we are sure to see a record number of miles trekked here in the San Diego Convention Center.

"SOS to [Biennial] Jane, uh, I hate to say this but we have regular Coke on the dias and not Diet Coke."

One of the worlds worst kept secrets is that Rabbi Eric Yoffie only drinks Diet Coke. The Biennial and all Union functions are built upon three things: hard work, long hours and Diet Coke.

While she did make it to over 8473 by 12:30 yesterday afternoon, Biennial Jane has lost her pedometer and she is sad. If anyone in San Diego has a pedometer to donate to the cause please leave a comment and we will be back to track Biennial Jane!

Jane Herman, Union staff member and responsible for all of the food service in San Diego, has volunteered to wear a pedometer and report to the Blog on the number of miles she walks every day in the massive San Diego Convention Center. (The Center is over a half a mile long.)

As of 7 A.M. on Tuesday Biennial Jane has walked 6068 steps.
