This Friday, October 28th is a big Shabbat for Camp Coleman all across our region! It might not be summer anymore, but that doesn’t mean the Coleman fun has to end.

If you’re in South Florida, you can join the Coleman Shabbat at Temple Beth Sholom in Miami Beach at 6:00 pm. Cantor Lisa Segal (a Coleman alumna!) will be leading participants in a Coleman-style Shabbat service followed by a dinner featuring camp favorites like Nelly’s fried chicken. Afterwards there will be a special oneg Shabbat with a song session, s’mores, and more.
Meanwhile, one of our Coleman campers will be Mizpah Congregation in Chattanooga will be talking about his wonderful experiences at Coleman at the 5:45 pm service. This camper made Coleman part of his Bar Mitzvah project!
Finally, in the Atlanta area, Temple Kol Emeth in Marietta will be having its own Camp Coleman Shabbat at 8:00 pm. After the Second and Third Grade students lead the congregation in prayer, our very own Jaimee Boettcher will be there to join the Coleman fesitivities.
Don’t forget to check our calendar for events coming up in your area. We hope to see you soon!
