It’s finally here- the URJ Camp Coleman 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend! Beginning at 2:00 tomorrow we will be opening our gates to Coleman alumni, friends, and family to celebrate the last 50 years. There will be camp activities galore, campfires, services with special recognitions, and so much more! We know that not everyone will be able to join the 630+ registered Colemanites in the 30528, so we’ll be posting photos and videos on our Facebook page and tweeting the event using #Coleman50. It seems like yesterday that I was on the committee to plan the Bar Mitzvah year celebration at Camp Coleman. Last year I saw first hand the many improvements made through the years but on Friday night, in the outdoor chapel, I still saw the ducks swimming in the lake and heard the frogs and crickets serenading us all. The camp I loved is still there!
