Goodbye to Our Two-Week Bonim Campers!

On Thursday we said goodbye to our first group of two-week friends. We got super sloppy, went to a water park, found some buddies and made new friends, got to know our counselors and find out what is really in our pillowcases, and finally figured out what was for snack!

Bonim/Chalutzim Buddies

One of the milestone programs of a camper’s Bonim summer at Camp Coleman is the Bonim Buddies Program where a Chalutzim camper (the oldest unit at camp) gets matched with a Bonim camper (the youngest unit at camp).

All-Camp Mitzvah Project

This summer Coleman campers packed one extra item to bring to camp. The extra item didn’t take up much room in each individual camper’s luggage. Yet, when added to all the items that other campers and staff brought this summer a huge collection began to amass in the chadar ohel – the dining hall. Bins overflowed as donations poured in from all of our units and staff.
