While there are four core values often discussed at Camp Coleman, one does not need explanation: ruach (spirit). The ruach at Camp Coleman is both infectious and all-encompassing.

Goodbye to Our Two-Week Bonim Campers!
On Thursday we said goodbye to our first group of two-week friends. We got super sloppy, went to a water park, found some buddies and made new friends, got to know our counselors and find out what is really in our pillowcases, and finally figured out what was for snack!
Torn Paper T’filah
With Shabbat approaching, we wanted to share with you a photo montage of one of the T’filah (prayer) options from last week. Here at Camp Coleman our campers receive a variety of prayer experiences, and in our Keshet T’filah rotations they get to explore their own ways of participating in Jewish prayer.
Bonim/Chalutzim Buddies
One of the milestone programs of a camper’s Bonim summer at Camp Coleman is the Bonim Buddies Program where a Chalutzim camper (the oldest unit at camp) gets matched with a Bonim camper (the youngest unit at camp).

No matter how often I have experienced it over the many years I have served on faculty at Camp Coleman, Shabbat here continues to fill my heart with a genuine sense of joy and hopefulness.
