Getting to Know You: Scott Braswell

By Emily Andes

As a camper you only get to spend 3 and 1/2 weeks at GFC each summer.  You might get to return for  retreats during the year, but that’s usually only for a weekend or two.  Staff are lucky, they get to live at GFC all summer. They’re usually there for about 10 weeks all together and might have the opportunity to staff a retreat or event during the year. But the luckiest people of all are definitely the directors who get to breathe, eat, and sleep GFC all year around. We might not see them a lot during summer because they’re so busy making sure everything runs smoothly, but Loui, Stefani, Ana, and Scott are undoubtedly the faces of GFC. This year we’re catching up with each of them individually to get to know them a bit better. First up, Assistant Director Scott Braswell (He might be the luckiest one of all, he gets to LIVE at camp. Can you imagine?! Cookie cakes every night!).

Get to know Scott!
