Shalom from sunny San Diego!
The directors of GFC have joined almost 200 other URJ staff at the San Diego convention center for the URJ Biennial. We have been busy preparing for the 5,000 attendees from all over the country who will be attending the biennial. Loui is the plenary guru and is responsible for the production of the large sessions in the main Biennial hall. Stefani is responsible for the registration process as well as many of the conference logistics. Ana is helping to plan and run the worship opportunities during the week and Shabbat as well. Scott is running around doing a little bit of everything as he is helping with Security, logistics and also helping with the NFTY program. GFC alumni such as Elena Dufner, Scott Hertz, J.C. Cohen and David Berkman are working behind the scenes in different roles to help put on this huge event.
We are so excited to welcome over 100 Greene Family Camp alumni to San Diego and hope to see all of our alumni attending Biennial. If you will not be with us in San Diego there is an opportunity for you to take part virtually from your couch or office!
Just a reminder we are quickly approaching the end of our 2nd early bird deadline. Some units only have a few spots left and we encourage our community to take advantage of early bird savings by registering by December 31st. Remember that we only need a deposit to reserve a spot in what should be our best summer ever. Register today!
We hope you have a great week!
Loui, Ana, Stefani & Scott
