Still, I am constantly reminded of how much remains unchanged at “the best little old Jew Camp right here in Texas.”

Door to Door

One thing that really defines Opening Day for me is the magical moment as a camper when you see your cabin door sign for the first time. The door sign answers a lot of questions about what summer’s going to be like: who’s in your bunk, how artistic/creative are the counselors, does the bunk name easily lend itself to a constantly repeated cheer? All VERY important details in the span of a summer.
