By Emily Andes It’s hard to believe that just 3 short days ago we said goodbye to our Session I campers. The counselors left camp themselves for a couple days of rest and now we’re right back to prepping for Session II. Besides announcing counselor pairings and painting door signs, a lot of hard work goes into getting ready for the campers’ arrival. Before camp started back in June the staff went through a rigorous orientation week to not only familiarize themselves with their duties as counselors, but about the special situations and problems they might face with their campers.
