Earlier you had a chance to read about our chuggim at camp, and some of the many choices our campers have to make during their time at camp. This past week saw “performances” from a variety of the chug offerings, but three in particular caught my eye.
First, yesterday at lunch we watched, impressed, as the dance chug presented their original, self choreographed dance.

Walking through the villa kitchen the sweet smells of honey caught my nose. I couldn’t help but try one of the honey donuts. While we were busy calling them sufganiot a few of our Israeli counselors taught us that this was really a Moroccan dessert called svenge. Yummy AND global!
Finally, something was a little fishy during pool. Instead of kids swimming we started off the hour with boat building chug. These future engineers have been hard at work all week creating, testing, and recreating their watercrafts for optimal bouyancy and performace. We’re pleased to say that all of the boats made it at least part of the way, with one in perfect condition by the other end of the pool!
Hope to check in soon with another great set of chuggim.
