Hello again from the Hevrah 2012 publicity task force! As I write this it’s been a little over a week since we arrived. It’s hard to believe that we’re already gearing up for our second Shabbat. Before we know it, it’ll be time for Project Day. We’re already excited, although there is still plenty of work to do before it all comes together.

On Saturday night, July 30, these words began the most unique and meaningful ceremony I’ve ever had the privilege of participating in. That night I facilitated a giluach rosh, a shaving of the head, for a sixteen year old girl in her second round of chemotherapy for brain cancer.
