Being immersed into a brand new environment with people you don’t really know beyond name and where they’re from. Not being sure of what is going on around you, but going with the flow, along for the ride. This is the situation I have found myself in since coming back from Greensburg, Kansas with a group of ten peers from GW on an alternative spring break.

Today, we all logged onto Facebook to find that there was a certain video which had been shared numerous times. Looking back a few months, we can remember the idea for this video just being tossed out during a meeting with one of youth group advisors, Jodi Miller. The idea to make a NFTY Missouri Valley It Gets Better video was an instant hit with all of us.

The holiday season is a time to reflect on the bad things we have done over the past year in order to make the upcoming year all the more sweet and meaningful. This is the perfect time to reevaluate how we treat each other and ourselves.
