Yesterday, we took a trip to the Hezekiah’s Tunnel. When we got there, we stepped into the pitch black tunnel full with water up to our knees. At first, I was excited to expose myself to a new experience. However, when I stepped into the tunnel for the first time, I was scared out of my mind. It was so dark. I have never experienced such darkness in my life. Luckily, I had my counselors and my friends to help me throughout the entire tunnel. We sang the whole time while we were in there to take our minds off of the darkness. Even though I was terrified, I was happy that my friends were able to support me.
