Dear Mitzvah Corps of the South,
I can’t begin to explain to you how ecstatic I am to meet all of you! As I’ve spent the past couple of days at Mechina (NFTY’s North American leadership conference), held at Kutz Camp in New York, I’ve had a hard time keeping the next two weeks out of my every other thought. Packing for New Orleans was somewhat of a frenzy, because when I get excited about something, I can barely concentrate and focus on one thing at a time! Let’s hope I manage to throw everything I need into my oversized suitcase…
Anyway, I’m looking forward to this experience not only as a social action project, but as an opportunity to make lifelong friends. I am sure you all share my enthusiasm and are just as ready for this adventure as I am!
