Mark Pelavin is the Associate Director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. He is one of the Jewish community's leading legislative strategists, and one of its senior lobbyists.

As the White House waits for the report of the Iraq Study Group, co-chaired by Former Secretary of State James Baker and former Congressman Lee Hamilton of Indiana, one Middle East analyst has their next assignment lined up for them.
