Is the AP against raising the Minimum Wage?

On Tuesday, November 7, voters in six states will have the opportunity to increase the minimum wage. This morning the Associated Press released an article that claims that businesses are alarmed by minimum wage hikes that are adjusted for inflation. Many economists and business owners, however, support an increase.
Chris Farrell, of Business Week, outlines why businesses support the minimum wage. Jared Bernstein, a senior economist at the Economic Policy Institute, eloquently outlines why the minimum wage needs to be increased to keep up with inflation.
