Video: Judge Sotomayor’s Hearings Begin Monday

Beginning at 10am on Monday July 10^th, the Senate Judiciary Committee will be conducting hearings on the nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the United States Supreme Court.The hearings are an opportunity to learn more about Judge Sotomayor’s record, temperament and judicial philosophy. This week, the RAC sent YOUR questions to the Judiciary Committee and encouraged the members to address the issues that we, as Reform Jews, care about.

The RAC will be providing coverage of the hearings through our blog (look for the “Focus on the Court” icon) and through video clips, so that you can see what is happening on the ground.   Check out our first clip, with more information about next week’s hearings, here.
