Rabbi Daniel H. Freelander is the past president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ), the international umbrella organization of the Reform, Liberal, Progressive, and Reconstructionist movements. The WUPJ represents two million Jews and 1,200 synagogues in 40 countries around the globe. Rabbi Freelander is also the past senior vice president of the Union for Reform Judaism.
