If one of your Jewishly themed New Year's resolutions is to delve deeper into your Judaism, consider signing up for one of the Reform Jewish Movement's classes.

The Union for Reform Judaism and Reform congregations across North America offer a variety of educational classes, both online and, when safe, in person, to help you explore and understand Judaism. Visit our Judaism Classes page to learn more all of the offerings listed below and to find a class that's right for you.

1. A Taste of Judaism®

Curious about Judaism? You're invited to join us for three sessions exploring a modern Jewish take on spirituality, values, and community. This engaging class on Jewish spirituality, ethics, and community is designed for the curious beginner; individuals from all faith backgrounds are welcome. The class is free; we just ask you to register so we can save you a seat!

2. Introduction to Judaism

Learn the fundamentals of Jewish thought and practice in 16-24 weeks. This course is perfect for interfaith couples, those from different faith backgrounds considering conversion, and Jews looking for an adult-level introduction. New in 2021 is our Introduction Judaism class taught in American Sign Language.

3. Learn to Read Hebrew

Get started with the aleph-bet! Learn the shapes and sounds of the Hebrew alphabet, with a warm and supportive educator to guide you and a group of classmates for practicing together. This course assumes no prior Hebrew experience.
