Acharei Mot (and K’doshim) for Teens: Shabbat Sha-raps

This is part of another double parasha*, so let’s dig in. The head priests are told what to do with a scapegoat (you know, when you want to blame the sins on someone else!) Plus, we learn about atonement for sins and are warned against prohibited acts.

Tazria (and M’tzora) for Teens: Shabbat Sha-raps

Read as a double parasha* with the next, this parasha holds the rituals of purification after childbirth, as well as those for skin diseases.

The next parasha, M’tzora, goes into more ways to heal, as well as how people can contract diseases. The rap has some rough info., but listen in!

Chol HaMo-eid Pesach for Teens: Shabbat Sha-raps

Have you ever been curious how relatable the Torah really is? A group of staff from the Kutz365 Alumni Network decided to spend an entire year rapping the weekly Torah portion, or parasha, from the Torah. Shabbat Sha'Raps started at camp in the summer of 2016, and then grew through Zoom over the course of an entire year. Filmed from Zoom boxes around the globe, this creative interpretation of Torah is a fun and easy way to understand the weekly Torah portion. Join Evan, Matt, Melissa, and lots of special guests on this joyful journey of discovering Torah!

Tzav for Teens: Shabbat Sha-raps

Listen in on this parasha to learn about the priests’ sacrifices. Then learn about when we are told about kosher meat! Plus, Aaron and sons are ordained priests.
