Since 1970, Jacobs has served the Reform Jewish community of the Deep South: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Central & Western Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle. Since 1952, when URJ Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute was founded by the Reform Movement, more than 30,000 children have passed through our gates, building lifelong friendships, exploring their Jewish identity, and having the time of their lives. OSRUI is proud of its commitment to providing campers with strong and encouraging Jewish role models.
At 6 Points Creative Arts, the program staff, campers, and site work together to create a holistic, meaningful experience for artists in a living laboratory for learning and performing. Our program focuses on the whole child, fostering personal advancement and resilience while creating an aspirational arc of growth and possibilities.
At 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy, located just outside of Boston’s science and technology corridor on the campus of the beautiful Governor’s Academy boarding school, scientific inquiry meets fun! Campers spend two weeks exploring robotics, video game design, environmental science, digital media, and a host of other fun activities in a friendly setting with campers who share similar interests.
URJ 6 Points Sports Academy provides a unique camping experience that combines professional sports coaching and the beloved traditions of Reform Jewish camping. Campers feed their passion for sport while strengthening their identity as Jewish athletes, building self-confidence and strong connections to their peers and their Judaism.
Since its inaugural season in 1999 Camp George, the Reform Movement's only Canadian camp, has offered the best in Reform Jewish camping blended with the rich history and tradition of the Ontario residential camp experience.
Nestled in the foothills of the magnificent Pocono Mountains in rural Pennsylvania, URJ Camp Harlam provides the finest in recreational and educational activities for Reform Jewish youth. Crane Lake Camp is rooted in a long history and rich traditions of excellence. A second home to 350 children each session, campers come together to experience the fun and magic of Jewish camping from across the Northeast. At camp, kids of all abilities and backgrounds strengthen their Jewish identities, all while surrounded by beautiful facilities and expert staff.
